Old Leigh House

Old Leigh House is a male-only unit comprising seven individual bedrooms, a lounge and dining area. It caters for patients with a diagnosis of learning disabilities and mental health problems who require assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.

Located in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, Old Leigh House is set opposite a large park area, which affords patients the opportunity to participate in outdoor sports and leisure activities. The sea front is just five minutes walk away.  The unit itself is able to offer a number of therapeutic programmes within a homely and relaxed setting.  There is easy access to Southend town centre.

In terms of activities, Old Leigh House offers literacy and numeracy, team games, social skills groups, life skills, a wide range of community activities, and much more.

Facilities at Old Leigh House are of high specification, offering a comfortable and pleasant environment. Accommodation is on three floors of a three storey building which has a lift installed.

There is a fair size garden to the rear of the building and car parking space to the front and rear.

The unit is well located to allow easy access to the community as part of the rehabilitation process.
